Schwartz and Kobrin in Columbus, Lunch Music, Me at Ham's, So Very Much More

I was on vacation earlier this week and don't really have the time to go on about the events. I will say this, though, good googley moogley there is a lot going on. I mean, come on. I'll just list them clumsily, and you can read more at the linked sites.

Oh, I will, however, take the time to mention that lyric soprano Christina Burroughs will sing at the museum tomorrow for its weekly lunchtime series which I coordinate. She'll sing a program of mostly love songs from so many different genres--Handel, Romantic art song, opera and more. Read a bit more about her on my Lunch Music Schedule page. Hear her tomorrow (3/29) from noon to 1 PM with Auburn pianist Nicole Agostino.

Also, on Monday, April 2, I'll be playing jazz at Hamilton's on Magnolia FBS with guitarist Patrick Bruce. This is our monthly first-Monday gig there. They serve delicious food and martinis are half-price on Mondays. We play 6:30 to 9:00, and there's no cover.

Ok, commercials are over. There are really just too many events worth hearing in the next few days. I'll try to categorize or something. Probably the biggest deal will be Columbus's LegacyLive! series performance by violinist Sergiu Schwartz and pianist Alex Kobrin on Sunday, April 1. See link below under Columbus heading and video embedded above, presumably of him playing Brahms for a past LegacyLive! performance (thanks to YouTube user cmi614).
